Follow our blog as we embark on our personal Lands End to John o’ Groats journey. We go where many have travelled before but for two blokes normally stuck behind a desk (interspersed with a couple of hours mountain biking each week) this represents quite a challenge for us!
Alastair and Andy are two biking mates from Cheltenham who spend lots of time mountain biking the local Cotswolds. Late last year during a ride we discussed the idea of cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats (approximately 1000 miles) in two weeks to raise money for Cancer Research following the untimely death of Andy’s mother-in-law. Sheila sadly passed away aged only 61 following a short battle with breast cancer.
We’ve now finalised the plans and are in the middle of our adventure – it’s hard work!
We are sure, like us, that everyone reading knows someone who’s been affected similarly so please dig deep and donate now!
